
Eligibility Requirements
The EWI Program is a voluntary plan (per CM § 607.11 of the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission guidance) in the camera and lighting rental industry.
- Rental Company agrees to maintain its ESTA/PERG membership in good standing throughout participation
in the EWI Program. - Rental Company attests that a potential hire from the EWI Program will be a full-time position and the Rental
Company is making the hire with the intention and the ability to provide long-term employment. - Rental Company will dedicate the necessary time and resources towards providing educational opportunities for the
applicant outlined in the EWI Training Guidelines and Curriculum. - Rental Company will assign a supervisory employee to be the EWI Mentor and primary contact. Mentor will provide
documentation of training (as described in the EWI Program Training Guidelines and Curriculum) to the EWI Program
Coordinator for the purpose of demonstrating how program goals are met. - Rental Company will volunteer a senior staff member to host one or more presentations for all EWI Program
participants and PERG rental companies on an educational topic to be mutually agreed to, intended to broaden
employees’ understanding of some aspect of the business.
ESTA will not disclose information gathered from Rental Company regarding the EWI Program unless the Rental Company
gives its express authorization for the information to be shared (such as to promote the EWI Program); provided, however,
information gathered will be used to assess the EWI Program, information may be reported in aggregate form to the EWI
Program sponsors, executive committees, and government officials investigating affirmative action program compliance may
have access to reported information.
